Adding VALARMIN to the plant nutrition
program is an economical and ecologically sound approach to plant
stress management and well balanced plant nutrition, for better
cropping rates and quality.
Generally stress conditions cause several common reactions in
plants:
Photosynthesis stops (plant energy production stops)
Respiration increases (plant energy use increases)
Stomata closure (vital gas exchange is reduced)
Initiation of premature foliar senescence (leaves begin to die)
Variation of internal water potential and osmotic pressure (reduces
plant nutrient uptake and movement throughout a plant).
Increase of Abscisic acid (ABA), which causes the fall of flowers,
leaves and fruit.
The action of the L form amino acids in VALARMIN
combat these reactions by:
Increasing water potential
Regulating osmotic pressure
Slowing down the photorespiration process
Increasing net photosynthesis
Preventing stomatal closure
