Trisul Agro-Livestock Ranch started as a family business, with a view, that a modern hybrid must be responsive to changes in management. Designed to produce the correct package of growth and production necessary for the diverse and volatile demand of not only different countries, but also of individual agricultural / horticultural / livestock farmers.

   
   
In 1995 to develop natural products, Thrisul Agri-Biotech was established as a separate Research Oriented Company. Research started in plant nutrition to simplify the present complex, haphazard and indiscriminate use of nutrients. An “easier, effective and economical way of feeding plants with nutrients is only through foliar application” - was established as the best route of administration. Scientists of Thrisul Agri-Biotech started working on this basis and the process was to find the right carriers, which bond and carry the nutrients into the foliage. In addition, the carrier had to have a significantly smaller molecule than the leaf-pore. The carrier had to protect the nutrient from deterioration and keep it stable for a period of time.
   
   
A breakthrough was achieved in 1996, research and trials followed to study the exact nutrients and the levels that could be suspended in the carrier. Another breakthrough the same year was of finding a new carrier, if used, could – in itself be part of the nutrition to the plants. The carrier discovered was of a biological (organic) origin, eco-friendly, user-friendly and biodegradable.
   
   

After this breakthrough, research was to find the exact nutrient requirement of the plants in general, and the number of nutrients, which could be bonded and suspended in the carrier. Extensive field trials were conducted in different areas, and Thrisul Agri-Biotech’s scientists collected various types of data and the produce (vegetables, fruits, oil seeds, pulses and grains) taken for analysis, to study the residue in them. There was no residue found as everything the plant absorbed was utilized.

   
   

Efficacy tests proved that the product is capable of achieving an increase of more than 50% crop yield. However, the claim made is that this product increases crop yield by 15 – 35 %. Other tests were conducted to study if the product produced any toxicity within the plants. No toxicity was produced even at double the actual dose, so this fact - that this product is safe to plants is established.

   
   

In 1999, the product developed was named as Valarmin. The same year Thrisul Agri-Biotech was also incorporated. Valarmin is shortly to be patented and the process is on. Valarmin is the only 100% organic product, which is also 100% safe. The first of its kind in the world market today. The potential demand for this product in the world market is immense.

   
   

Environmental health in agriculture is an important field where Thrisul Agri-Biotech can offer sound solutions: flies, beetles, rodents, microorganisms etc. are some of the pests that can be successfully controlled with Thrisul Agri-Biotech’s know-how. Research extended to increase milk yield in cattle, higher egg / meat production in poultry; is at the final stage. After extensive trials, these natural products will also be manufactured and marketed.

   
   

Now research is on to develop an effective Virucide for controlling viral diseases in agriculture. (No true virucide is available to date in the world market and we will be the first in the world). This product is to be devised in such a way that it will also function as a bactericide and fungicide to control bacterial and fungal diseases in agricultural crops without producing any toxicity within the plants. Thrisul Agri-Biotech scientists are keen on making this product (1) biodegradable, (2) eco-friendly, (3) user friendly, (4) safe to the plants / crops (5) cost effective and (6) the product will confirm to EEC norms.
